I am still hanging out in the art room, but as a middle school art teacher. I am still "doing" art, raising a wonderful daughter (okay, so what if Annie often reminds me that she's 22, has her own apartment and I am not "raising" her any longer.) I'm enjoying a second chance at love with my equally quirky life partner, Nate. I'm working on a second degree in the field of special education as an Intervention Specialist. Even though I was one of those people who couldn't wait to get out of school, I often find myself going back to school and enjoying every minute of it. : )

Memories....Mr. Wolf's hitchhiker story. (Years later, Andy Wolf was my daughter's track coach.) I still run into him at Coney from time to time. : ) Mr. Kraus RIP, Mr. Knight, Mr. Godar RIP, Mrs. Brashears, who I ran into later at my first teacher inservice while quietly exclaiming, "Hey, there's one of my "old" art teachers!" The IPDE strategy of identify, predict, decide and execute and that crazy "hot dog" health movie Tina mentioned.
